Remembering Sergeant Meggan Callahan

Last Friday the North Carolina Department of Corrections faced yet another grim anniversary, April 26, 2017, of the line of duty death of Sergeant Meggan Callahan. In the aftermath of that slaying I was able to interview her mother, a woman with unbridled love for her daughter and someone who has found meaning in the life and death of her daughter.
